SECOND GEAR LLC LAUNCHES PORCHLIGHT BUG TRACKER FOR SMALL SOFTWARE
DEVELOPMENT TEAMS

EVANSVILLE, IN – Second Gear LLC, a Macintosh desktop software and
Web development firm in Evansville, Indiana announces the immediate
release of Porchlight, a bug tracker for small teams of software
developers. Porchlight provides a Web based interface that easily
allows developers to keep track of feature requests and bugs in their
software. The program is user friendly and supports multiple
projects, multiple users and has a developer API that will be
released in the next 30 days to allow even more extensibility.

Porchlight’s dashboard makes it easy for members of development teams
to track recent activity in their projects. They can get an overview
of the upcoming milestones in all of their projects from the
milestones screen. Users can also subscribe to their activities
calendar via an RSS feed.

“Porchlight addresses the issues we have had with all the other bug
trackers we have tried. It’s simple, easy to use and beautiful,” said
Ryan J. Bonnell of Creative Arc.

Porchlight is a hosted service with accounts ranging from $10 to $100
per month. There is also a free 1 user, 1 project account available.
