Belkin today announced new surge protectors that provide cable management, sliding outlet covers, and an inconspicuous design. “Recognizing people’s needs for more thoughtfully designed surge protectors, the Concealed Surge Protector, for example, features an unobtrusive design that blends into the wall, while keeping plugs and cables hidden under its lid, making it cleaner and safer for kids and pets,” says Belkin. “A convenience plugs allows you to quickly plug and unplug devices, such as a vacuum to a cell phone charger, without having to open up the Surge Protector. Both will ship in North America in October for US$49.99 and $59.99, respectively.
