REALbasic 2006 Release 4 to ship in September

REAL Software today announced that REALbasic 2006 Release 4 will ship in September with support for Apple’s Universal Binary format. The Universal Binary format enables a single Macintosh executable to run natively on both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macs. With REALbasic 2006 Release 4, most REALbasic applications can be re-compiled as Universal Binaries with one mouse click. A development preview of REAL Software’s Universal Binary support is currently available via the REALbasic beta program. Any REALbasic 2006 user with a current update plan can access the beta program from the Web site.
