Report: Apple sees 14% increase in brand equity

Apple has seen a continuing increase in brand equity, according to a report on BusinessWeek, notes Macworld UK. According to the story, Apple’s brand equity has increased 14 percent over the past year. The results come from BusinessWeek and and Interbrand Best Global Brands survey. “Apple continues to be the style master with its expanded family of iPods and Macs. Its latest hit: the MacBook line of laptops,” the report states. Apple took 39th place on the list, delivering a brand value of US$9.13 billion. It was in 41st place in 2005.
