Apple’s Mighty Mouse to go wireless

Apple is prepping the release of a wireless version of its Mighty Mouse according to a regulatory filing in the US, reports Macworld UK. “The new version of the mouse uses Bluetooth to maintain a link with the Mac, meaning Apple has been required to gain regulatory approval from the Federal Communications Commission before it can sell the device in the US. The FCC publishes applications for approval and it’s from this information that details of the mouse, which has the codename ‘M6,’ were disclosed,” notes the story. No details on a potential release date was announced.
