Apple said today that it would expand the amount of Viacom’s MTV Networks television shows it sells on its iTunes Music Store, reports MarketWatch. The company will offer episodes of MTV’s “Viva La Bam,” TV Land’s “Sit Down Comedy with David Steinberg,” and Spike TV’s “Blade: The Series”, for US$1.99 each. Apple said it now offers episodes of more than 150 TV shows and has sold more than 1 million episodes of the Comedy Central series “South Park” since launching the video service in late 2005. Apple shares rose 52 cents to $56.50.
