O’Reilly European Open Source Convention announced

O’Reilly Media has announced the “O’Reilly European Open Source Convention,” which “brings together the best and brightest across every open source persuasion for four days of intense, inspirational interaction. It’s the one place where developers and their managers get their hands on the latest skills, where technologists debate entrepreneurs, where community activists connect with politicians, and where creators come face to face with their most devoted users.” EuroOSCON early registration is open — sign up before August 7 and you’ll save €300. Some of the speakers you’ll see this year include Rasmus Lerdorf, Yahoo!/PHP; Charles Lamb, Oracle; Matt Asay, Alfresco; Greg Stein, Google; Damian Conway, Thoughstream; and Florian Mueller, No Software Patents. Editor’s Note: MacMinute is a media sponsor of this event.
