Meetro announces Mac support

Meetro, Inc. today announced the availability of Meetro, the company’s free location-aware social messenger, for the Mac. “The beauty of Meetro is the direct way in which you connect with people nearby,” said Paul Bragiel, CEO of Meetro. “Just run Meetro, double-click on a person and begin chatting immediately. It’s all realtime, which means you see and communicate with local people who are online right now.” Features include: worldwide location support; fully integrated profiles into the messaging experience; dynamic friends lists; the “face pane,” which allows users an optimal way of viewing who’s online visually; and realtime updates now supporting Growl.
