GameRanger will no longer support Mac OS 9, reports Inside Mac Games. GameRanger says: “May 2002: Apple announced that Mac OS 9 development had ended. Four years later in 2006, GameRanger will end support for booting in Mac OS 9. Games will continue to be supported in the Classic environment, but GameRanger itself will only run natively in Mac OS X. This is an essential and necessary step in moving forward to support the Intel-based Macintoshes.” A precise date for the move has not yet been set.
