SmileOnMyMac Updates BrowseBack to Version 1.2

SMILEONMYMAC UPDATES BROWSEBACK
Enhancements Include Option to Save Images, Smaller Memory Footprint

San Francisco, CA – May 12, 2006 – SmileOnMyMac has updated BrowseBack, a
web history visualization and search tool that was awarded “Best of Show”
at Macworld Expo 2006. BrowseBack stores a PDF of every web page visited
and makes the pages accessible through a unique interface that allows the
user to browse thumbnails of the pages. This visual web history can also be
searched by content, making it possible to easily retrieve visited web
pages with a few keywords.

BrowseBack 1.2 includes a new preference for images to be saved as part of
the web page’s stored PDF. Previously, images were linked to the PDF and
downloaded when the PDF was requested by the user. With the new preference
selected, the user will be able to retrieve both text and images that were
previously viewed but are no longer available online. “This option was at
the top of the list of enhancements requested by users since Macworld,”
said Philip Goward, co-founder of SmileOnMyMac.

In addition to the images preference, BrowseBack 1.2 features a smaller
memory footprint for better performance.
