FileWave today announced the release of the latest version of its software management suite, FileWave 2.5. The new features of FileWave 2.5 include; upgrading a computer from Mac OS 10.3.X Panther to Mac OS 10.4.X Tiger; automated first time network-based deployment of the FileWave Client software; management of software deployments based on hardware and software rules; remote control features through ssh; Timbuktu and VNC and support for transform files in the Patch Installer feature of the FileWave WinClient to better support MSI based installations; improved cross platform compatibility; and more.
