Cinematize 2.05 offers direct output for iPod and more

Miraizon today announced the release of Cinematize 2.05, the latest version of the company’s software package that extracts audio and video clips from a DVD movie and saves them in a format compatible with standard multimedia editing software such as QuickTime, iMovie, and Final Cut. Version 2.05 offers the ability to generate movie files for iPod video and Playstation Portable (PSP) units, as well as for sharing on the Web. The newly added output formats include Apple’s H.264-based iPod video format and the MPEG-4 format for iPod, PSP, and Web. Additional new features include improved compression color control, improved handling of DV Stream export, as well as several bug fixes. Cinematize 2 is priced at US$59.95 and a free trial version is available.
