Aliso Viejo, CA – September 13, 2005 – Smith Micro Software Inc. (NASDAQ:
SMSI) today announced it will continue the annual tradition of it’s Allume
Systems division by donating $1 of each sale from its Websites over the
next 30 days to help national and local charities. This year the company
will donate all proceeds to the American Red Cross and America’s Second
Harvest to help the people affected by Hurricane Katrina.

In addition to this annual charity drive, the company is matching every
employee’s donations to the American Red Cross to help the people affected
