Koingo has announced the release of Font Pilot 2.0, the latest version of its font management utility for Mac OS X. Font Pilot allows users to browse and inspect each font on their computer… including ones hidden by default. Version 2.0 includes complete Apple Type Services support, which allows users to view the copyright, trademark, description, license information, manufacturer, designer, designer’s URL, and more. The utility also allows users to activate fonts on the fly without installing them, preview fonts before installing them, or perform both of these operations on an entire hierarchy of fonts within subfolder after subfolder. Font Pilot 2.0 is priced at US$15.95, and a 15-day trial version is available.
