Gefen today announced the 2×1 DVI KVM Switcher, which connects two cross-platform computers to one keyboard, video display and mouse (KVM) workstation. The new switcher offers stereo audio, high-speed USB 2.0, and DVI video in resolutions up to 1920×1200 are output for each computer. In addition, the switcher measures seven inches wide, two and a half tall and four deep, and provides a switch button on the front of the unit that gives access to computer data in seconds. The Gefen 2×1 DVI KVM Switcher is priced at US$199 and is available now.
