Sonnet Technologies today announced two new single processor Encore/ST processor upgrades — the Encore/ST G4 1.8 GHz for most “Sawtooth” Power Mac G4 systems, including AGP Graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, Digital Audio and QuickSilver models, and the Encore/ST G4 1.8 GHz made specifically for the Power Mac G4 Cube. The company also announced both upgrades are priced US$50 less than the 1.7 GHz upgrade they replace. The Encore/ST G4 1.8 GHz is available now for US$399.95, while the the Encore/ST G4 1.8 GHz for Cube will be available August 8, 2005 $399.95.
