Feeder 1.2 Released with iTunes Podcasting Features

Swansea, United Kingdom – July 29, 2005. Reinvented Software is proud to
announce the release of Feeder 1.2. Feeder is an application for creating,
editing and publishing RSS feeds on Mac OS X. Version 1.2 introduces full
support for working with the iTunes RSS extensions announced with iTunes
4.9, including an iTunes Music Store preview.

Feeder is packed with thoughtful features to enhance the experience of
creating and managing feeds from start to finish including auto- complete
and templates to save repetitive typing, automatically updating publication
dates and much more. Feed content can be rich with images, links and
formatting: Feeder’s editing features help you add these easily and
generates a preview to show how your feed will look in a newsreader or
RSS-aware browser.

Feeder 1.2 includes full editing support for feeds that use iTunes RSS
extensions introduced with iTunes 4.9 and has many convenience features for
podcasters wanting to create iTunes-aware feeds, including enclosure file
uploads and an iTunes preview. Now podcasters can see exactly how their
podcast will look when listed in the iTunes Music Store before submitting
their feed and without having to wait for iTunes to update.

Before publishing, Feeder validates feeds against the RSS 2.0 specification
and, if the extensions are used, the iTunes RSS specification. Feeder can
publish feeds and upload enclosure files using FTP, Secure FTP or .Mac.

Feeder requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and costs $29.95. Educational
discounts are also available. Feeder 1.2 is a free upgrade for registered
1.x users.
