Rogue Amoeba Software today released Nicecast 1.8, an update to its software that allows users to easily broadcast audio on Mac OS X. Version 1.8 offers Stream Password-protection, listener kicking, UPnP and NAT-PMP support, Application Mixer Effects plugin, updated Effects Window, and more. Nicecast requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later and is priced at US$40.
