WiebeTech today announced enhancements to its FireWire DriveDock+ and Notebook DriveDock+, which allow bare 3.5″ IDE and 2.5″ notebook drives to mount to hosts via FireWire or USB2 ports. New features include LED indicators give a visual indication when a FireWire or USB host are attached to the dock and over a dozen other new enhancements. Pricing has been set at US$149.95 with availability on August 15, 2005 for both products.
