Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston Kicks Off Next Week

Event highlights include Tiger education, Apple Specialists Pavilion, new
products and music festival

Framingham, MA — IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class

preview of Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston, to be held next week at
the Hynes Convention Center. Macworld will feature an exhibit hall filled
with several exciting highlights, plus four days of world-class educational
content with conference sessions appropriate for Mac users of all levels
and backgrounds.

The Macworld conference program runs Monday through Thursday, July 11-14,
2005. The Macworld exhibit hall opens on Tuesday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. and
will stay open until 7:00 p.m. and has the same schedule for Wednesday,
July 13. The exhibit hall is open on Thursday, July 14 from 10:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m.

The Apple Specialists Pavilion, sponsored by Apple Specialists Dealers,
will have the most current Mac products on display including PowerMac G5’s,
Xserve and Xserve RAID as well as iMac G5 and Mac mini lines. In addition,
Macworld and Berklee College of Music will present a free music festival,
featuring select Berklee artists who compose and produce their works on the
Mac.

The Macworld exhibit hall will feature the newest products and applications
for the Mac platform from companies such as Apple Specialists Marketing
Co-op, Quark, Xerox Corp., Software Mackiev, Guitar Center, Harman
Multimedia, Rimage, Peachpit, Seiko Instruments USA, and many others. A
small sample of exhibitors planning to showcase new products at Macworld

Advance Reproductions Corp. (Booth 214) CSI Lightjet Digital Imager:
photographic large-format prints from digital files.

Battery Technology (Booth 321) iPod Tunestir is the first FM radio
transmitter and FM radio receiver for the iPod; iPod AA Battery provides an
additional 12-14 hours of music playtime and is compatible with all iPod
models; iPod A Shuffle accessories, including an AC power adapter/charger
and a headphone splitter.

Delapod by Delarew Designs (Booth 222) Delapod is a stylish handbag design

Hewlett-Packard (Booth 207 — Apple Specialists Pavilion) The latest Mac OS
X Tiger-ready HP products from Designjet printers for creative
professionals, Color LaserJet all-in-ones for business, and Photosmart
printers and cameras for digital imaging will also be featured throughout
the Pavilion.

Peachpit (Booth 202) “Photoshop CS2 Down & Dirty Tricks,” This new edition
includes step-by-step tutorials on how to create the same exact effects you
see every day in magazines, on TV, at the movies, and on the Web; “Robin
Williams Mac OS X Book, Tiger Edition,” Robin once again works her magic by
providing a gentle and friendly introduction to Mac OS X Tiger.

SEIKO INSTRUMENTS USA, Inc. (Booth 221) Smart Label Printer 410, prints
one-inch labels for common applications such as addressing envelopes,
labeling file folders and creating bar codes; in addition to printing one

Macworld Conference & Expo attendees can also network with their peers and

* Feature Presentations: Feature presentations include an address by

exhibit hall highlight will have the most current Mac products on display.
Presentations will be held in the Apple Specialist Pavilion Theater every
half hour.

* Power Tools Conference: 9 separate conferences will provide two days of
in-depth training on specific applications and tools, including Adobe
Creative Suite, Macromedia Flash MX 2004, FileMaker, Final Cut Pro,
