Prosoft Engineering today announced Pod Genius for Mac OS X, a software utility designed specifically toward iPod users. The utility allows users to recover lost or damaged music, repair corrupted data structures, backup an iPod to an exact copy, permanently delete unwanted files, or optimize the file layout of their music.
