Jonathan Nathan has released Jon’s Phone Tool 2.3, the latest version of his versatile phone dialer that can dial a Bluetooth mobile phone or a regular land line through your Mac’s modem or speakers. It can also make calls via Vonage, CallVantage, Skype, Ovolab Phlink, Parliant’s PhoneValet, an Asterisk PBX server, an IP-based telephony device by way of an URL, or by any of the SIP softphones by Xten Networks (eyeBeam, X-PRO, X-Lite) for use with many VoIP services. Version 2.3 adds Tiger compatibility and several new features and bug fixes. Jon’s Phone Tool 2.3 requires Mac OS 10.2 or higher and is priced at US$12.
