PhoneValet 2.2

Press Release
April 28, 2005

PhoneValet 2.2 adds Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger support for Spotlight searching of
Voice Mail and Call Recordings

Ogdensburg, NEW YORK/Ottawa, CANADA – (April 28, 2005) – PhoneValet Message
Center, the award-winning Mac telephony product by Parliant Corp. for small
businesses, homes, and home offices, now supports Mac OS X version 10.4
“Tiger” including complete integration with Apple’s new Spotlight desktop
search.

PhoneValet version 2.2 places voice mail messages alongside email messages
in Tiger’s Spotlight search results. Voice mail messages can be located on
the basis of caller’s name, telephone number, full-text comments and
transcriptions (if entered) plus many other PhoneValet data fields. Call
recordings are similarly indexed by Spotlight, as well as results from
PhoneValet’s call log of inbound and outbound calls — a highly desirable
feature for anyone doing time billing or contact management analysis.

“Apple’s latest Mac OS gives our customers fresh, compelling value from
PhoneValet,” said Kevin Ford, CEO of Parliant. “For example, a single
Spotlight search for a co-worker can return documents written for and by
that person, address book information, email messages and PhoneValet voice
mails, call recordings and recent calls as well. Our customers will love
Apple’s new Spotlight approach to assembling contact and call information
from every corner of a Mac’s hard disk with a single search.”

“Spotlight’s ability to find anything on the computer as quickly as you
type is just one of hundreds of new features which make Tiger the world’s
most advanced operating system,” said Ron Okamoto, Apple’s vice president
of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We’re excited to see PhoneValet use the
power of Spotlight to give users the ability to quickly show voicemail
message search results along with all of their other related files.”
