Pixel Ribs has announced the release of McFilters 1.0, a set of nine Photoshop-compatible plug-in filters: McBackLightGlow, McBlur, McCells, McGel, McLens, McMotionBlur, McScatter, McSharpen, and McTwirl. The company says that what makes this package different from others, is that it “intensively uses information from the selection mask to modulate filter parameters. This opens infinite possibilities for creating extraordinary effects, which were hard or even impossible to achieve in any other way.” McFilters 1.0 is available for Macintosh and Windows for €55.75. Demo versions are also available.
