FontDoctor 7.0 brings font archiving, restoration

Morrison SoftDesign has released FontDoctor 7.0, a major update to its Mac OS X tool for font problem diagnosis, repair, and organization. The application will scan font folders (on local hard drives or over a network) to locate and repair common font illnesses, including corrupt or damaged fonts, missing Postscript fonts, missing bitmaps, corrupt/damaged fonts, font ID conflicts, extra fonts sizes, mixed fonts types, and more. Version 7.0 introduces a number of new features and improvments, including font archiving and restoration, more intuitive user interface, and updated diagnose and repair functions. FontDoctor sells for US$69.99.
