Envision Everywhere, Envision 1.1

OPEN DOOR NETWORKS ANNOUNCES NEW ENVISION EFFORTS
Envision Everywhere, Envision 1.1, special pricing at Macworld/SF

SAN FRANCISCO CA — January 10, 2005 — Open Door Networks today
announced its “Envision Everywhere” initiative, Envision version 1.1,
and special Envision pricing at Macworld Conference and Expo here.
Open Door’s Envision software moves Web images beyond the confines of
the Mac’s Web browser; Envision Everywhere goes even further by
moving those images beyond the confines of the Mac itself, to
flat-panel TVs, digital picture frames and even the iPod photo.
Envision 1.1 adds support for Envision Everywhere as well as other
major new features.

Envision Everywhere and Envision 1.1 can be seen at Open Door’s show
booth, #649, and in the Macworld Digital Art Gallery, #407, which
Open Door is sponsoring (see “Open Door Networks sponsors Macworld
Digital Art Gallery”).

Envision helps users take Web images where they’ve never gone before,
by automatically pulling them off Web sites and displaying them in
new ways, such as in full-screen slide shows, montages, and thumbnail
views. The product ships with over 100 pre-built “Web shows” from
sites like Astronomy Picture of the Day and WebMuseum. Envision
Everywhere supplements Envision with a comprehensive set of
technologies and recommendations for displaying Envision images not
just on the Mac, but on a broad array of entertainment devices.

“As Envision customers become aware of the amazing imagery available
through the Web, they’ve been asking us for ways to move that imagery
from their Macs to entertainment devices throughout their home,” said
Alan Oppenheimer, president of Open Door Networks. “Envision
Everywhere provides guidance and recommendations for moving Web
images onto everything from 60-inch plasma HDTV’s to wall-hanging
iMacs to 2-inch iPod photos.” The Envision Everywhere Web site can
be reached through http://www.opendoor.com/envision/ .

As part of Envision Everywhere, Open Door has added significant new
features to the core product itself. Envision 1.1, available
immediately as a free upgrade for all registered users, includes such
new features as:

– Ability to save images for use on Envision Everywhere entertainment devices
– An out-of-this-world montage display option
– New full-screen display modes, including stretch and zoom
– Integrated image search through the Google search engine
– An enhanced set of pre-built “Web show” files, including many from
Open Door’s “Web Show of the Week” archive.

In concert with Macworld Expo, Open Door also announced that pricing
for single licenses to Envision will be reduced through the end of
January to $39. The product can be purchased directly off the
Envision Web site at http://www.opendoor.com/envision/. A free,
30-day evaluation version of Envision 1.1 is also available there.
