OmniPilot Software today announced that it is shipping Lasso Professional Server 8, the latest version of the company’s tool for developing, serving and managing data-driven Web applications. Changes in version 8 include new multi-site features, on-demand tag loading, POP support, enterprise features such as a built-in SOAP client, and numerous other enhancements and feature tweaks. This is a free update for all Lasso Professional Alliance (LPA) members. New users can purchase Lasso Professional Server 8 for US$649, while current LP7 users can upgrade for $349, and LP3 – LP6 can upgrade to LP8 for $399.
