CNBC, WSJ name Jobs ‘Leader in Innovation’

CNBC and The Wall Street Journal announced the winners of the CNBC/WSJ Executive Leadership Awards last night during a gala awards ceremony at New York City’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The inaugural event honored four of the country’s most esteemed, top-level business leaders. Apple’s Steve Jobs was named “Leader in Innovation.” eBay’s Meg Whitman was named “Business Leader of the Future.” Kenneth Chenault of American Express picked up an award for “Leader in Business Practices,” while A.G. Lafley of Proctor & Gamble was honored for “Overall Executive Leadership.”
