At today’s special music event in San Jose, Apple CEO Steve Jobs said it is clear that consumers want photo capabilities and not video features on their iPod. “We think music plus photos are the next big thing,” he said. “Everyone has the content” because of the popularity of digital cameras and “there are no copyright issues.” Jobs also noted that video is simply not practical. “No one has any video content to put on them, and even if they did, the screens are much too small,” he said, adding that the iPod is the “wrong place” for video.
