Jobs, Bono and The Edge appear on CNBC

Apple CEO Steve Jobs and U2’s Bono and The Edge were quickly interviewed on CNBC’s Street Signs following Apple’s special music event in San Jose today. The trio showed off Apple’s new iPod Photo and the new U2 iPod, and talked about the business relationship between Apple and the band. “Our position on sponsorship hasn’t changed,” said The Edge. “It has always been that we do not sell our reputation or our fans regard for our work to anybody. But this is a different thing. This is a technology partnership. We’re in Business with our record labels. We’re in business with our merchandising companies. And now we’re in business with Apple. It’s a very clean, straightforward relationship.” Jobs was also asked about his health. “I’m feeling great, actually,” he said. “And today was a really special day for Apple and I’m never going to forget it for the rest of my life.”
