UK leads Europe in iPod adoption curve

A report in yesterday’s Sunday Times in England contains an interview with Pascal Cagni, Apple’s European chief, who has recently moved from Paris to Britain. The interview contains some interesting insights into what Apple’s strategy will be going forward, and how the success of the iPod are influencing those decisions. “The UK is our strongest country now, no question,” says Cagni. “We have been performing superbly with the iPod. The adoption curve is much stronger than in other countries in Europe. The Christmas to come will be immense.” The UK has now overtaken France to become the biggest market in the region.
