Dell is expected to introduce a new portable music player on Thursday that is aimed at the market that Apple’s iPod mini currently dominates. According to CNET News.com, the Dell Pocket DJ made a brief appearance during Bill Gates’ keynote at Microsoft’s digital media event yesterday. Engadget reported earlier this week that the 5GB Dell Pocket DJ will sell for US$199, alongside a new version of the 20GB Dell DJ, which will sell for $249.
