X-Rite today announced the appointment of John Zimmerer, Jr. as X-Rite’s new Market Development Manager. In this new role, Mr. Zimmerer will manage the identification and development of emerging markets and technologies for the Company’s core color business. Zimmerer joins X-Rite from Apple, where he held the position of Color and Imaging Product Marketing Manager. In this role Zimmerer established the key feature requirements that lead the development of Apple’s color and imaging technologies, including Image Capture, ColorSync, Quartz, and Printing technologies in Mac OS X.
