Apple’s iMac G5 is ‘missed opportunity’

Although the new iMac G5 offers “a unique package of design, power and ease of use,” Apple has “missed the opportunity to stay way ahead of its PC competitors,” according to Paul Jackson, senior analyst at Forrester Research. He says Apple dropped the ball by not including built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as standard, and by not including personal video recorder hardware and software.
