Architosh announces design contests

Architosh, a Web site dedicated to Mac-based CAD/3D and AEC professionals, has announced two new contests for Mac developers, as noted at MacSurfer. One is the Mac OS X Software Design Competition, which will offer US$20,000 worth of fee advertising, “aggressive” promotions and Apple hardware. The objective of the software competition is to design a Mac OS X application (or applications) that “clearly provide a professional advantage for architectural professionals on the Mac OS X platform.” The next contest is Apple Xgrid Technologies Rendering Software Design Race for AEC. The first company to deliver a “plug and play, ease-to-use supercomputing rendering solution” for architects using Apple’s new Xgrid technology will win over two years of free advertising on Architosh and other promotions and prizes worth over $20,000.
