Analyst predicts ‘robust demand growth’ for Macs

Analyst Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray has upgraded Apple to “outperform,” while raising his estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from US$32 to $40, according to New Ratings. Piper In Jaffray’s research note published this morning, Apple “is poised to benefit considerably in the long term from its significant leverage to the digital convergence trends.” Munster says the company is likely “to witness robust demand growth for its Mac products, boosted by continued near-term digital convergence momentum.”
