Wincent today announced the release of Synergy 1.0, an iTunes accessory that allows users to control iTunes with hot keys and always-accessible menu bar controls. In addition, Synergy displays unobtrusive feedback about the currently playing track in the form of the semi-transparent “Floater” window. Synergy 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.2.2 or later, and is priced at US$10 (or €5). A demo version is available.
