Seventy-plus presentations slated for Flashforward

Flashforward and the Flash Film Festival, to be held July 7-9 in New York City, will feature more than 70 presentations by digital design visionaries including Bill Buxton, the charismatic former chief scientist at Alias/Wavefront; Joichi Ito, founder of PSINet Japan and Infoseek Japan; and Ze Frank, a New York City humorist and Flash developer. The world’s oldest and largest gathering of Flash users will feature three days of workshops, seminars, technology showcases, exhibitions, networking receptions and the Flash Film Festival, which honors the best Flash creations in 15 categories including animation, video, 3D, original sound, art, and commerce. The normal price of the conference is US $599. However, you can get a $100 discount if you sign up before 5pm (Pacific) on Friday, June 11.
