New Software lets you edit DVDs

DVDxDV is a new software program that transforms DVDs into digital media that can be read by a Mac just like a flash memory card from a digital camera. Using DVDxDV, clips from various home movie DVDs can be brought together to make a new movie. The final movie can be burned to a DVD, transferred to tape, or put on a Web page. DVDxDV requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher and comes in both a US$25 consumer version and an $80 professional version.
