Yahoo! to offer unlimited email storage for premium users

Jim Brock, senior VP for consumer services at Yahoo!, has said that a revamped Yahoo! email service will begin rolling out this summer that will offer unlimited email storage for premium users, reports Mercury News. The company announced the move at its annual analysts meeting in San Francisco. Details on the new service were scarce, but Yahoo! did say that storage limits for free mail users will go from 4MB to 100MB, while premium users who pay an annual fee will get “unlimited” storage. Google announced on March 31st that it is launching a new email service dubbed Gmail, which will offer 1GB of free email storage.
