Miglia Technology today announced the availability of AlchemyTV DVR 2.1, the latest update to the company’s TV Tuning and Digital Video Recorder product. Some of the new features in version 2.1 include: 48 KHz audio support for the ‘G5’ version, a new de-interlacing option from the Preferences menu, a new design for the Scheduled Recordings window, a new remote control design, and more. AlchemyTV DVR sells for US$159 and requires a PowerMac G4 or G5 with a free PCI slot, a 400 MHz processor or higher, 256 MB of RAM, and Mac OS X 10.2.4 or higher.
