Microsoft today posted MSN Messenger 4.0, a new version of the company’s instant messenging client. Version 4.0 brings Office 2004 integration, new Emoticons, improved alerts, improved file sharing, easier setup, a spam filter, integration with Entourage, and Hotmail support. MSN Messenger 4.0 requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher.
