iPod distribution expands in Australia

Starting April 1, 2004, Apple’s iPod will be available from retail superstores Myer, Megamart, Target, and Domayne. Digital Connect News (free subscription required), an Australian reseller magazine, says Creative welcomes the competition. “We’ll be up there with iPods on the shelves and people will be comparing us,” said Nick Angelluci, marketing manager for Creative. “Ours is actually much cheaper than an iPod. It’s fantastic for us because customers can now compare feature to feature.” [Link credit to Macworld UK]
