SubRosaSoft today announced the release of CipherDisk 2.0, the latest release of its utility that offers protection of data on internal drives, external firewire or USB drives, and CD/DVDs from prying eyes using the fast and secure AES encryption algorithm. Version 2.0 includes support for disk images, CD/DVD burning capability, and a new and streamlined interface. CipherDisk requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher (including Panther) and is priced at US$59.95. Upgrades to version 2 are free to all users of version 1.
