AddressX 1.1 supports Exchange 2003 Servers

Snerdware today announced the release of AddressX 1.1, an update to the company’s utility that imports the contacts from the Global Address List (GAL) of a Microsoft Exchange server directly into Mac OS X’s Address Book. “AddressX compliments the Microsoft Exchange integration provided by Groupcal from Snerdware, which allows one to access and manage Exchange calendars from Apple iCal,” notes the press release. “Unlike Microsoft Entourage, with this release AddressX joins Groupcal in fully supporting Exchange 2003 Servers using Forms-Based Authentication.” Version 1.1 offers support for very large Global Address Lists; compatibility with NTLM, Kerberos, and Negotiate authentication schemes; and incremental updates that preserve group membership. AddressX 1.1 requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher and Microsoft Exchange 2000 or 2003 with the latest service packs and WebDAV enabled. It is priced at US$25.
