Media 100, which makes such Mac compatible products as the Media 100 HD editing system, is seeking additional capital or a sale of all or part of their business, which may involve a reorganization. Company reps say that, in the event negotiations don’t result in “definitive arrangements in the short term,” Media 100 may shut down. In their Form 10-Q for the quarter that ended Aug. 1, 2003, the company said that their “ability to continue to operate as a going concern was contingent upon the achievement of forecasted revenue growth from its product.” Media 100 hasn’t met the necessary revenues levels.
