Apple sued by Eminem over iTunes ad song

Apple is being sued for using Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” song in one of its iTunes commercials, reports The Associated Press. The rapper’s music publisher, Eight Mile Style, states in a 15-page lawsuit that “Eminem has never nationally endorsed any commercial products and … even if he were interested in endorsing a product, any endorsement deal would require a significant amount of money, possibly in excess of $10 million.” The lawsuit also claims that Apple CEO Steve Jobs personally called the publisher to try to resolve the issue, to which Eminem responded by ending discussions with Apple.
