Use GarageBand, Unison for karaoke party

Panic’s Steven Frank has posted his “recipe” for a night of karaoke fun: “Use a copy of Unison to access alt.binaries.sounds.midi and download some MIDI files of popular songs to the Mac. Import the MIDI songs into GarageBand using Dent du Midi, or by converting them to AIFF using QuickTime’s exporter. Plug in microphone. Using Google, look up lyrics to the selected song. For example, Nelly’s ‘Hot in Herre.’ If alcohol is being used, consume at this point. In GarageBand, record amazing karaoke cover of song with your friends. Laugh selves silly.”
