According to the developer, QPict 6 is the most important release in the history of the product. Version 6 adds full support for RAW image files from almost every camera brand and model such as Nikon, Canon, Kodak, Casio, Minolta, Fuji, Olympus, Pentax and more. In addition, it enables cataloguing, viewing and conversion of RAW files; native support for postscript files; and a new kiosk mode so users are able to put their work on display in public places without worrying about anyone touching their computer. QPict 6 is priced at US$35, and for a limited time, existing QPict users can upgrade to version 6 for $14.00.
