Prosoft Engineering today released Data Backup 1.2.2, an update to the company’s backup utility for Mac OS X and Classic (for Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x). The software now automates the process of backing up important files by automatically launching for each programmed action when “Automatic Triggering” is enabled, eliminating the need to have Data Backup continuously running (in OS X). Additional features include Direct Copy and Delete actions, backup with encryption, and the ability organize programmed actions into groups. Data Backup sells for US$49.
